ENVIRONMENT
One of the first casualties of breakneck industrialisation and urbanisation is always the environment. But with global warming reaching alarming proportions and the environment getting more fragile with every passing day, concentrated efforts from all the states is the need of the hour.
The states must devise policies that keep urbanisation separate from environmental damage. Clear-cut policies and laws that protect and nurture forests, national parks, biosphere reserves, marine & wild life and other natural resources will prove beneficial in the long run.
Awareness campaigns at schools, colleges, offices and RWAS can bring about a change in the perspective, making ordinary citizens feel responsible towards the environment. We have taken into consideration the critical parameter of air pollution.
